The African Centre for Water and Climate Adaptation (PAN AFRICAN) organized the training program entitled “Conflict Management over Shared Water”
The training program was held during the period from September 24 to October 12, 2023, with the participation of (16) African trainees from (13) African countries (South Sudan - Kenya - Uganda - Chad - Côte d'Ivoire - Sierra Leone - Central Africa - Madagascar - South Africa - Eswatini - Mozambique - Zimbabwe), in addition to a number of (13) Egyptian trainees from the Ministries of Irrigation, Agriculture, Environment and Electricity.

Smart Water Management
Under the umbrella of the Adaptation Initiative in Water Sector (AWARe) and in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The training program activities entitled "Climate Smart Water Management" in the light of climate change started , The program continues for 3 weeks, from October 22 to November 9, 2023, with participation of 19 trainees from 17 African countries (Togo - Benin - Guineabasau - Cameroon - Djibouti - Namibia - Comoros - South Sudan - Chad - Niger - Burkina Faso - Malawi - Kenya - Madagascar - Zambia - Sierra Leone - Senegal).

(Managing irrigation systems and adapting to water scarcity in agriculture in Africa).

Water Management for Non-Agricultural Purposes in Urban Areas
A virtual training course was held under the title "Water Management for Non-Agricultural Purposes in Urban Areas" with the participation of 24 African trainees who were nominated by the Secretariat of the African Ministers of Water Council AMCOW from the countries (Democratic Congo - Tanzania - Tunisia - Benin - Cameroon - Gambia - Zambia), In addition to 50 trainees from Egypt from the ministries of (irrigation, environment, housing and electricity), which are organized in cooperation between the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and the Italian University of Turin, as of May 2, 2023 for a period of 5 weeks.

This program is presented in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development from January 29 to February 23, 2023, and 17 trainees from the brotherly state of Somalia from several ministries (Water and Energy, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change) will participate in the program. Cairo University, Ain Shams University and Desert Research Center.
