H.E. Prof. Dr. @Hani Sewilam, Minister of water resources & Irrigation, received a report from Eng. Tarek El-Sayed, Head of the Regional Training Center for Water Resources and Irrigation, to follow up on the ongoing trainings at the Regional Training Center and Pan African Center for Water and Climate Adaptation, and the executive position of the project “Italian-Egyptian Water Training Program” - Water knowledge.

Tarek El-Sayed, Head of the Regional Training Center for Water Resources and Irrigation, to follow up on the ongoing trainings at the Regional Training Center and Pan African Center for Water and Climate Adaptation, and the executive position of the project “Italian-Egyptian Water Training Program” - Water knowledge.

Prof. Sewilam stated that the training activities started at the #Pan African Center for #Water and #Climate Adaptation, where several training courses where held, such as :

-#Water Management for Non-Agricultural Purposes in the Urban Areas

-#Management of Irrigation Systems and Adaptation to Water Scarcity in African Agriculture

-#Shared Water Management and Water Diplomacy 
-#Smart Water Management in Light of Climate Change

Prof. Sewilam also reviewed the executive position of the “#Italian-Egyptian Water Training Program - Water Knowledge” project, which aims to develop and build the #technical and administrative capabilities of calibers working in the #water sector in #Egypt and #African countries, develop the training #infrastructure in accordance with modern #technological techniques, develop mechanisms for #managing and #developing water resources, and improve the #quality. #MWRI
